Metasys software can operate in different modes: online using the Site Management Portal UI offline using the SCT UI. When you are connected to the network engine or ODS, you can perform online mode operational activities such as monitoring and commanding. When you are connected to the SCT only, you can perform offline mode system configuration tasks such as configuring point objects and features.
