Plot Area

Plots the trend data for all objects added to the Trend Module.

Box Zoom

Zooms in for the area that is highlighted. To enable box zoom, place the cursor inside the plot area, hold down the mouse and drag left or right. A white shadow appears to outline the zoom area.

Callouts

Indicates the name of the trended object with its value at the selected moment in time (white vertical line).

Maximize

Changes the size of the Trend Module to its maximum size within the constraints of the Metasys display panel.

Close

Removes the Trend Module from the screen.

Zoom Out

Returns the chart to its original size. This option is only available if the chart is currently zoomed in.

Right Y Axis

(state data)

Indicates the axis that is plotting the discrete states for objects currently displayed in the Trend Module. Metasys objects that are displayed on this axis typically consist of Boolean or multi-state values.

Right Pan Arrow

Shifts the chart to display more recent trend data.

Newest Date/Time

Displays date and time of the last value that appears on the chart.

Moment in Time

(X Axis)

Indicates the date and time of the value at a particular location on the chart. The date/time information as well as a vertical moment in time line is displayed as you move the mouse over the chart. The units along the x-axis always represent time.

Oldest Date/Time

Indicates the date and time of first sample that appears on the chart.

Left Pan Arrow

Shifts the chart to display older trend data.

Left Y Axis

(numeric)

Indicates the axis that is plotting the numeric values for objects currently displayed in the Trend Module. Metasys objects that are displayed using this axis typically consist of analog values.

Scroll Bar

Adjusts the range of data that appears on the chart. Also zooms in and out when you resize the scroll bar. To zoom, click and drag the left/right arrows of the scroll bar. To pan, drag the scroll bar left or right.

Refresh

Updates the trend data for all objects shown in the Trend Module.
