Use the table editor to quickly make changes to the values contained in a single column of the grid table. Table 1 describes the fields of the table editor:
|Select the column that contains the values you want to modify.
|Select the type of action you want use to modify the values of a column.
|Select all cells to modify all the values in a column, . To modify the values of a select number of cells in a column, highlight the cells in the gird table, then open the table editor window, and select the selected cells option.
|Enter the value you want to locate.
|Enter the new value you want to replace.
|Enter the value you want to append to the existing value.
Table 2 describes the actions available with the Table Editor:
|Find and Replace
|Locates an existing value and replaces it with a new value.
|Replaces all the values in the cells you select.
|Replaces an existing value with the default value. Cells with default values appear green in the grid table.
|Find and Append Before
|Locates an existing value and appends text before the value.
|Appends text before all the values in the cells you select.
|Find and Append After
|Locates an existing value and appends text after the value.
|Appends text after all the values in the cells you select.
|First Char of Words Uppercase
|Changes the first character of all the words in selected cells to uppercase.
|First Char of String Uppercase
|Changes the first character of the first word in selected cells to uppercase.
|Changes all characters in selected cells to uppercase.
|Changes all characters in selected cells to lowercase.
|Locates an existing value, replaces it with a new value, and creates a number series based on the rules specified. The placeholder for the number is the # character.
|Increments or decrements the values by the specified offset.
|Find and Replace (Regular Expression)
|Locates an existing value and replaces it with a new value, applying regular expressions.
