About this task

To create multiple copies of a folder inside the user view editor and replace the object references, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the user views editor window, select the folder that you want to copy.
  2. Right-click the selected folder, and click Copy.
  3. Select the user view node under which you want to paste the copied folder.
  4. Right-click the selected user view node, and click Multiple Paste.
  5. In the Base name field, enter a unique object ID name and include the placeholder number character #.
  6. In the Start field, enter the number you want for the start of the series.
  7. In the End field, enter the number you want for the end of the series.
  8. In the Step field, enter the number you want to increment the series.
  9. From the Format list, select the number format you want for the series.
  10. Click OK.
  11. In the Find field, enter the number you want to locate.
  12. In the Replace field, enter the placeholder number character #.
  13. Click OK.
