Creating a new file for a Modbus Integration - Metasys - LIT-12013963 - Software Application - Mass Changes Tool - 3.0.0.x

1. Click File > New.
2. In the New File - Type window, select the Modbus Integration icon, and click Next.
3. Click the Resource File ellipses and browse to your VMD resource file.
4. Click Open.
5. In the Unique ID field, enter a unique ID for your device.
6. In the Name field, enter a name for your device.
7. In the Description field, enter a description for your device.
8. From the Vendor Configuration Data pane, in parameter [8], enter your branch name.
9. Click Next.
10. Optional: In the New File - Points window, you can modify the information related to points. The VMD resource file automatically fills the information displayed, except for the definitions of the units.
11. Optional: To add a unit definition to a point, select the unit definition from the Unit drop-down list.
12. Click Next.
13. To add points to your device, click the >> icon.
14. Click Finish.
