About this task

To add a child object to an object, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the All Items tree, select the object.
  2. Right-click the selected object, and click Add Child Object.
  3. From the Object Type list, select the type of child object.
    Note: The Object Type list contains child objects compatible with the selected parent object.
  4. In the Unique ID field, enter a unique object ID.
  5. Optional: In the Name field, enter a new name.
  6. Click OK.
