The ZFR/ZFRPro Series Wireless Field Bus System enables wireless communication, allowing you to create wireless connections between NAEs, NCEs, SNEs, SNCs and CGMs, CVMs, FACs, FECs, or VMAs.

On FAC, FEC, and VMA controllers, you can enable the controller to operate with a ZFR1800 Series wireless system and connect an MS/TP Bus in a wireless mode by setting the 128 DIP switch on the device address DIP switch block to ON. See Figure 2. CGMs, CVMs, the FAC3613 and the FAC2513 controllers auto-detect if the communication protocol is wired MS/TP, Zigbee Wireless, or N2 on the FC Bus.

To operate with a ZFR Pro Series wireless field bus, a CGM, CVM, FAC, FEC, or VMA must be connected to a ZFR Pro Wireless Field Bus Router, and the associated NAE, NCE, SNC, or SNE must be connected to a ZFR Pro Wireless Field Bus Coordinator through a Remote Field Bus integration.
