You can command points that are listed under the Home, Alarms, Overrides, and
Equipment Data menus.
Note: If you
configure authorization for a display, a user must log on to issue a command. If a
user is not logged on, a password prompt displays and the user must enter the
correct password before they can command the point. For more details about logging
on, see Logging on and off.
If you try to command a point that is set as a read only point, the present value of the point does not have a blue outline and you cannot select that point to command.
If you try to command a point that is not set as read only but does not have any commands attached to it, an error message appears, No commands available.
