- Drag the BACnet IP integration object from the navigation panel to
the display panel. The Focus tab for the BACnet/IP integration
appears.
- Click . The Insert Field Device wizard appears.
- In the Destination window, select the BACnet IP
integration if not already selected and click Next.
- In the Select Definition Mode window, click
the Invoke Auto Discovery button to begin a BACnet device
discovery.
- The Auto Detect Utility wizard appears. This
wizard shows that a discovery is in progress. As new BACnet devices are discovered
across the network, they appear in the discovery results list. You should see the
Kaiterra sensors in this list.
- Click the Kaiterra sensor that you want to integrate.
- In the Identifier window, enter a unique name
for this device. Click Next.
- In the Configure window, accept the default
settings and click Next.
- In the Summary window, click Finish. The Extension wizard
appears.
- Click Done as it is not required to add
extensions for the device.
- The Field Device Extension wizard appears. Click New and continue inserting field points as described in the
next section, Inserting a field device manually.
