What is session inactivity?
Session inactivity logs a user out of the JCT after a configured amount of time passes without activity on the computer or device.
What is the default session inactivity time?
The default session inactivity is 30 minutes.
How do I change the default session inactivity settings?
To change the default session inactivity per user in SCT, go to
, then right-click on the user and select . You can select the Never Terminate option. This option allows your session to never expire. However, if your tablet or phone goes to sleep or you lose connection, you are logged out and returned to the login screen. Additionally, you can enter the time in minutes that you would like your session to expire (Never Terminate cannot be selected for this setting).What happens when there is a session inactivity event?
You are redirected to the login page. After logging in again, you are redirected to the last page accessed.

JCT Help is open in another browser tab or window and a session inactivity
event occurs, the
JCT Help remains open and active. If the
JCT Help is bookmarked, you can access the
JCT Help
at any time without being logged into an active session of the Metasys system.
