Use the following information when you install Energy Essentials.
Before you attempt to install Energy Essentials, verify that Metasys® Advanced Reporting can correctly run a report. Refer to the Verifying the Metasys Advanced Reporting System is Working Properly section in the ADS/ADX Commissioning Guide (LIT-1201645) or ODS Commissioning Guide (LIT-12011944) . To install Energy Essentials, you must have an Extended Application and Data Server (ADX), or an Open Data Server (ODS) with the Metasys® Advanced Reporting System at the same release level.
This document does not describe how to install the Metasys Advanced Reporting System. For more information, see Table 1. The release number of Energy Essentials must match the release number of the ADX or ODS, and Metasys Advanced Reporting System software installed on the same computer. Metasys Advanced Reporting supports installation on a computer with SQL Server® 2016 software.
Important: Energy Essentials reports do not support installation on a computer with SQL Server 2019, SQL Server 2017, or SQL Server 2016 software. The latest available version of the Open
Data Server (ODS) is Release 10.1. The ODS is not available for upgrade to Metasys
Release 11.0.
