Figure 2. Associate Loads Dialog (Online)
- In the drop-down list box, select a device to search.
- Click Search to query the device for all objects that have Load extensions.
-
Select which loads (Load extensions) to associate with this DLLR object. You can select multiple rows using Ctrl and Shift.
Note: When you associate loads online, do not add a load to more than one DLLR object because the Associated Loads dialog displays all loads and does not prevent you from associating loads that are already assigned to another DLLR object. If you associate loads offline with the SCT, the Associate Loads dialog box displays only those loads not currently associated with any DLLR object.Note: If you intend to use large numbers of Load extensions attached to a single DLLR object, you may need to consider the memory limitation. For the Load extensions attached to one DLLR object, there is a 64k text limit for the list of the Load extension fully qualified references. For example, if the DLLR object is configured with loads that have fully qualified references with an average of 100 characters (including dots) in length, then you can support approximately 650 (64k per 100) loads for that DLLR. If you reach the memory limit, you may need to combine loads.
-
Click OK to add the selected loads. The Load
Summary refreshes with the loads you selected
(Figure 3).
The Associated Load Count increases incrementally
with the total number of associated loads.
