Add two new network inputs, and connect each input to one of the control points previously added. The following example is based on the cold deck damper being controlled by the CVM/CVE with integrated position feedback.

About this task

To add new network inputs, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the upper right corner of the Network Inputs dialog box, click the Add icon. The New Module Selection dialog box appears.
  2. Click the Count field in the row for INPUT-BOOLEAN and change the count to 2.

  3. Click Finish to return to the Network Inputs dialog box.
  4. Right-click INPUT-BOOLEAN-1.
  5. Click Rename. Rename the input as CD-DPR-POS-AUTOCAL-EN to match the name of the corresponding miscellaneous control point.
  6. Right-click INPUT-BOOLEAN-2.
  7. Click Rename. Rename the input as CD-DPR-POS-PRESENT to match the name of the corresponding miscellaneous control point.
  8. Right-click the CD-DPR-POS-AUTOCAL-EN input and select View Details.

  9. Click Edit on the upper left corner of the details view window.
  10. Set the Default Value attribute to True.
  11. Click Apply on the upper left corner and then click Close to return to the Network Inputs dialog box.
  12. Right-click the CD-DPR-POS-PRESENT input.
  13. Repeat Step 10 to Step 12.
    Note: Set the BACnet Exposed attribute to False.
  14. Select the CD-DPR-POS-AUTOCAL-EN input, then select the Connections tab.
  15. Right-click CD-DPR-POS-AUTOCAL-EN in the Output column and select Make Connection.

  16. Select CD-DPR-POS-AUTOCAL-EN under Hardware>Outputs and click OK.
  17. Repeat steps 14-16 for the CD-DPR-POS-PRESET Input.
