Preparing an equipment definition in SCT - Metasys - LIT-12013511 - Bert plug integration - Bert Plug Load Control - 10.1

You can download a Bert equipment definition from the Global Library site: https://globallibrary.azurewebsites.net/#/equipmentdefinition. The equipment definition defines a selection of the available points in a Bert device that are presented in the Metasys UI. The equipment definition is required if you use the Rapid Archive to complete the integration process. For more information, refer to the Insert Equipment Definition section in the Metasys SCT Help (LIT-12011964).

1. Download the equipment definition file from Johnson Controls, or create one in SCT.
2. Launch the SCT, and then open an archive.
3. In the All Items tree, expand the server object, for example the ADS or ADX.
4. Right-click the Equipment Definitions or Definitions folder, and then click Import Equipment Definition.
5. Navigate to the location of the equipment definition you downloaded, select the file, then click Import.
6. After the import is complete, a confirmation message appears. Click OK. The equipment definition imports and is listed under the Equipment Definitions folder.
