An NAE is a web-enabled, IP-based, supervisory engine that connects BAS networks to IP networks. An NAE can operate as a stand-alone site director or can be part of a larger network reporting to a Metasys server. You install the Johnson Controls® Launcher application on a computer to access the NAE, and then monitor and control BAS devices and systems using the NAE or Metasys server user interfaces from a computer or mobile device.
