Retrieving a license for SQL Server that you purchased from Johnson Controls - Metasys - LIT-12011177 - M4-ADSTK-PC - M4-ADXTK-RCK - M4-ADXTK-TWR - ADS/ADX Turnkey - 11.0

1. Browse to the License Portal (https://software.jci.com/licenseportal/#/login), log on, and then click the Software tab.
2. Click the download icon for the product that includes your purchase of SQL Server. For example, if you purchase a product that includes both an ADX 10 user license and an SQL Server license, the product name in the License Portal is Metasys ADX 10U W/SQL 4Core Lic (New).
3. To download only the SQL Server files, clear the check box for the root folder, expand the Microsoft SQL Server folder and any subfolders, and then select the check box for the SQL Server .zip file.
4. Click Download, extract the downloaded files, and then extract the contents of the SQL Server .zip file.
5. Browse to the extracted files, and then open the SQL Server license folder. The name of the SQL Server license folder is similar to SQL 4Core Lic (New)-MS-ADXnnSQL-0.
6. Browse through each nested subfolder until you view the contents of the x64 folder.
7. Use a text editor, such as Notepad, to open the DefaultSetup.ini file.
8. Identify the line that begins with the text PID=. Your product key is the code between quotation marks on that line.
