Before you begin

If you purchase a license for SQL Server from Johnson Controls, see Retrieving a license for SQL Server that you purchased from Johnson Controls for information about how to retrieve your product key.

Procedure

  1. Open the SQL Server 2017 Installation Center.
  2. In the SQL Installation Center window, click Maintenance, and then click Edition Upgrade.
  3. On the Product Key page of the upgrade wizard, select the Enter the product key option, and then enter the product key.
  4. Step through the remaining pages of the upgrade wizard to complete the licensing process.
