Table 1. Settings menu
Name Description Default value Available values
Aux Lockout Use this parameter to set an auxiliary heat lockout temperature. If the outdoor ambient temperature is greater than the temperature you set, the auxiliary heat outputs (W1 and W2) are not energized. None None, 5°F to 55°F in 5°F increments
HP Lockout Use this parameter to set a heat pump lockout temperature. If the outdoor air temperature is less than the temperature you set, the heating cycle starts with the auxiliary heat source. If the outdoor air temperature is equal to or greater than the temperature you set, or you set this parameter to None, the heating cycle starts with the heat pump. None None, 5°F to 55°F in 5°F increments
Stage Delay Use this parameter to configure the minimum amount of time that the current stage must be on before starting the next stage. 120 min 2 min to 120 min
Defrost Temp Use this parameter to configure the defrost set point. If necessary, increase the temperature for a more aggressive defrost operation. 70°F 50°F to 80°F in 5°F increments
Demand Response Use this parameter to enable or disable the demand response feature. Disabled Disabled, Enabled (NO), Enabled (NC)
Comf/Eff Use this parameter to configure how quickly the compressor ramps up to meet the set point. Efficiency Comfort, Efficiency
Temp Sensor Use this parameter to configure the number of temperature sensors installed. 1 1, 2
Float Switch If the UA connects to an AVV air handler or a two-stage furnace control, use this parameter to activate an optional condensate float switch (S1-ACS2). For a normally closed (NC) switch, select Enabled Open. For a normally open (NO) switch, select Enabled Close. Disabled Disabled, Enabled Open, Enabled Close
Aux Switch If the UA connects to a two-stage furnace control, use this parameter to configure the optional dry relay contact supplied by the utility company. For a normally closed (NC) switch, select Enabled Open. For a normally open (NO) switch, select Enabled Close. Disabled Disabled, Enabled Open, Enabled Close
Aux Switch: Ht If you enable the Aux Switch parameter, use this parameter to configure how the switch activation affects the heating equipment. Stage Down Stage Down, Shut Off Comp
Aux Switch: Cl If you enable the Aux Switch parameter, use this parameter to configure how the switch activation affects the cooling equipment. Stage Down Stage Down, Shut Off Comp
Ventilator If the UA connects to a ventilator accessory control, use this parameter to configure the type of ventilation device installed. None None, ERV, HRV, Generic
Vent Mode If you configure a ventilator device in the Ventilator parameter, use this parameter to configure how often the ventilation device is opened. Timed Timed, Off, Continuous
Vent Runtime If you set the Vent Mode parameter to Timed, use this parameter to configure the ventilator device runtime for each ventilator cycle. 20 min 5 min to 55 min in 5 min increments
Vent Cycle If you set the Vent Mode parameter to Timed, use this parameter to configure the ventilator cycle period. 1 h 1 h to 4 h
Vent Limits If you set the Ventilator parameter to Generic and you set the Vent Mode parameter to Timed, use this parameter to configure if a damper is installed for ventilation purposes. Disabled Disabled, Default, Manual
No Vent Above If you set the Vent Limits parameter to Manual, ventilation is not allowed if the outdoor temperature exceeds this setting. 100°F 95°F to 105°F in 5°F increments
Vent with Cool If you set the Vent Limits parameter to Manual, ventilation is allowed when a call for cooling occurs and the outdoor temperature is between this setting and the setting for No Vent Above. 85°F 85°F to 100°F in 5°F increments
Vent with Heat If you set the Vent Limits parameter to Manual, ventilation is allowed when a call for heating occurs and the outdoor temperature is between this setting and the setting for No Vent Below. 10°F 0°F to 40°F in 5°F increments
No Vent Below If you set Vent Limits to Manual, ventilation is not allowed if the outdoor temperature is below this setting. 0°F -5°F to 5°F in 5°F increments
