Single point calibration can be used to correct inaccuracies due to the field wiring between the TDA Module device and temperature sensor.
About this task
- Connect a reference resistance (10,000 ohms ±100 ppm recommended, 3,000 ohms minimum) to the input of the TE-74 that needs calibration.
- Allow the input to settle (approximately 30 seconds), record the present value of the input resistance.
- Subtract the recorded present value from the reference resistance value, command the Field Zero Reference for Field Calibration point for the input being calibrated to the result of the subtraction.
