About this task

Single point calibration can be used to correct inaccuracies due to the field wiring between the TDA Module device and temperature sensor.

Procedure

  1. Connect a reference resistance (10,000 ohms ±100 ppm recommended, 3,000 ohms minimum) to the input of the TE-74 that needs calibration.
  2. Allow the input to settle (approximately 30 seconds), record the present value of the input resistance.
  3. Subtract the recorded present value from the reference resistance value, command the Field Zero Reference for Field Calibration point for the input being calibrated to the result of the subtraction.
