About this task

If proxy authentication is required, an Enter Proxy Credentials dialog box appears and requests the user to enter their proxy credentials, which are a User name and a Password.

To submit the proxy credentials, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the Enter Proxy Credentials dialog box, enter your User name and Password.
  2. Click Continue.
    Note: When you enter the credentials, the Software Manager continues to use them until you close the Software Manager. If the machine where the Software Manager is installed is a shared machine, close (exit) the Software Manager when you leave the machine.
