About this task
When you start the Software Manager for the first time, the Software Manager chooses a default language for its display based on the user's current Windows® display language. The Software Manager uses English if the Windows display language is not set to a language that the Software Manager supports. The user can change the Software Manager's display language through the Settings dialog box.
The Software Manager uses its current language setting when it displays its own windows. However, when the Software Manager opens a Windows system dialog, such as File Open or File Save, the dialog displays with the user's Windows display language. Additionally, when the Software Manager launches any other application, such as an Internet browser or PDF reader, that application uses its own language settings.
Procedure
- Click the Language menu and select the required language.
- Click Save.
- Restart the Software Manager to ensure that the language setting takes effect.
