Procedure

To power the ZFR1831 Pro Wireless Router and Smart Equipment controller, complete the following steps:

  1. Apply power to each RTU.
  2. Verify that the start-up sequence finishes, and the controller goes into an idle state.
  3. Verify that the ZFR Pro Router LED flashes a good or average signal strength indication after 10 seconds, see Router LEDs functional definition for LEDs functional definition. If the LED shows poor signal strength or is not flashing, see Troubleshooting section.
