Use the part number configurator in Figure 1 to generate the required part number for the RA-1270 Fan Inlet Thermal Dispersion Airflow Measuring Station. For example, RNL12QW. Each fan configuration has the option of one or two sensors for each fan. Contact your local Johnson Controls representative for ordering information.

Note:
  1. Local host comes standard with one 25 ft (7.62 m) data/power cable when you require a client monitor box based on the number of fans and number of sensors for each fan. If you mount the host box farther than 25 ft (7.62 m) from the nearest fan, select remote host as the user interface with a 50 ft (15.2 m) data/power cable.
  2. Local host comes standard with 25 ft (7.62 m) sensor cable assemblies. Client monitor boxes come standard with 10 ft (3.05 m) sensor cable assembles, 25 ft (7.62 m) available with option Z. If you mount the host farther than 25 ft (7.62 m) from the nearest fan, select remote host option with 50 ft (15.2 m) data/power cable.
  3. 50 in. (1,270 mm) client data/power cables come standard when you require more than one client monitor box based on the number of fans and number of sensors for each fan. These 50 in. (1,270 mm) cables connect one client monitor box to the next in daisy chain manner. Additional data/power cable lengths are available, if requested. Contact your local Johnson Controls representative for assistance.
  4. NEMA 1 enclosures are standard for host and client monitor boxes.
  5. The length of the supplied boom arm supplied is in accordance with the information shown in Table 1.
  6. The RA-1270 is available for fan array applications that involve more than 6 fans. Contact your local Johnson Controls representative for assistance.
