Procedure

Temperature output LPF enables selection of the level of process filtering applied to temperature outputs. Levels are 0 to 9, with 0 representing the filter off and 9 for maximum filtering. Each unit of filtering is equal to 10% filtering. For example, 2 is equal to 20%.

Note: Display filter is an additional selection applied only to the display.

This filtering affects reported temperature values and analog channels configured for temperature.

Note: Press ESC at any time to return to the previous menu and exit without changing any settings.

To configure the temperature LPF, complete the following steps:

  1. While in the Operator Menu, use UP or DOWN to scroll to Temp LPF.
  2. Select Temp LPF and press ENTER. The display shows the current setting of the process filter from 0 to 9, with 0 representing the filter off and 9 for maximum filtering.
  3. Use UP or DOWN to change to the required setting and press ENTER. The new setting stores in memory and the display returns to Output 2 Param > Temp LPF.
