To set up the Plant Optimizer with email notifications, contact Johnson Controls Technical Support and provide the following information:

  • SMTP server name
  • Required SMTP port
  • User name and password credentials used to send the alert emails

The SMTP server name and credentials are entered by CUP Technical Support in the Optimizer configuration file, along with the email 'from' address in the form cpo-notifications@XXXX.com, where XXXX is the customer domain.

If SMTP credentials are not provided, a CUP Gmail account is used instead.
