To add a new fault rule to the maintenance adviser, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the Plant Optimizer administration application, from the menu at the top of the page, select Configuration and Maintenance.
  2. Select Add Fault Rule and enter the details of the fault rule. When you select the Health Check and system type, the related equipment selection is automatically populated. Next, select an equipment variable for the fault rule, and set the equipment tolerance. The tolerance value is automatically set with a default value based on the health check type.
