Simplified savings tracker baseline inputs are inputs for savings calculations. The simplified savings tracker feature is only available for electric water cooled chilled water plants. The savings estimated in the simplified savings tracker are not the accurate CUP savings, but rather a simple proxy that can be calculated in real time. The true savings are calculated using the Plant Simulator to simulate baseline energy use and costs.
Baselines can be set for plant efficiency (kilowatts per ton) and tower makeup (gallons per ton), and are applied to individual plants.
Baseline average efficiency data for each of the plant efficiency and tower makeup parameters can be recorded for each month of the year. These monthly values can be set to recur every year.
