Use the Utility Pricing section to define utility pricing rates for the utilities purchased for use in the plants under Plant Optimizer monitoring and control. You can define utility pricing using manual inputs or API integrations to real-time or day-ahead pricing that Plant Optimizer can use to create seven day forecasts. Use the manual inputs option to set up bill components with utility types for demand, usage, block and index, or transport. The rate structure schedule is the period over which the particular rate structure and its pricing is in effect, and the rate is the price over different periods of time. Enter a schedule and rate from available rate structures to be in effect for a particular duration.
To define utility pricing, complete the following steps:
The timetable shows the effective rates for
your schedule. Dates with a set rate structure are highlighted in green and dates with
no set rate structure are in gray and are ineffective. CUP supports multiple rate
structures at a time but allows only one schedule for a specific time interval.
