OBEM gives you data driven guidance to uncover Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) that can help you to achieve your building goals.
ECM Project calculations are established by OBEM professional engineers by:
- Testing ECM equations through functional applications from source field data
- Validating the ECM equation with the syntax validate functionality
- Setting up a unit and aggregation level for the template the ECM uses
- Mapping ECMs to global FDD rules
The Improvement Measures Plan tab in Sustainability Managers shows data driven recommendations for ECM projects so that you can consider overlooked opportunities and achieve your objectives. The tab has the following features:
- At building level, OBEM makes ECM recommendations based on FDD trends and whole building performance metrics such as EUI
- ECM recommendations can include broad changes or more targeted equipment
- The Selected Energy Conservation Measures table displays the following information:
- ECM ID
- ECM project name
- Impacted source
- Estimated impact
- Estimated savings
