OpenBlue Enterprise Manager (OBEM) is a single pane of glass solution for cloud based building performance analytics and optimization. OBEM is a multi-tenanted Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that supports high volume building data aggregation sourced from Johnson Controls and third-party BMS platforms and external sources. OBEM hosts a number of subscription based apps that provide the intelligence and experiences to support building operations, asset performance management, tenancy, work order management, and advanced ML enabled analytics.

Using parent-child meter and equipment space relationships, OBEM provides for enterprise building performance comparisons and life cycle management. Powerful analytics root out energy and equipment-related problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These analytics run in the background and find energy and equipment anomalies. The Fault Detection and Diagnostic (FDD) feature provides you with actionable information.

OBEM works with Metasys Building Automation and third-party Building Automation Systems (BAS) that support BACnet/IP communications to provide a consolidated view and insight to every space, with respect to equipment operation from the portfolio level to the sub-spaces in a building. Coupled with OpenBlue Bridge (OBB), OBEM has the flexibility to integrate directly with meters through BACnet/IP and is easy to configure. OBEM can also assist in obtaining ISO 50001 Certification faster.

OBEM monitors and influences other factors that affect energy performance and this makes OBEM an integral part in the development of an energy management plan. OBEM also provides the following benefits:
  • Provides measurement, documentation, and reports on energy use and consumption.
  • Automates energy and system monitoring and verification. You no longer need to go to the facility and write down energy metrics on paper or take photos.
  • Performs mandatory energy reviews automatically, as a requirement with ISO 50001 certification.
  • Allows you to set baselines, recalculate them, and compare them with historical data to track energy savings progress.
The OBEM automated reporting tools are the easiest way to share progress with your energy team and organization.
