OBEM has an intuitive user interface (UI), with an easy to navigate, user-centric approach. OBEM’s various applications help users to easily address and manage the varying needs of their enterprise. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quickly convey summarized information for each application at portfolio, location, and building level.

Logon and Home Page

When any OBEM user logs onto the application, the first screen they see is the home page. The main home page displays important information regarding the various apps in OBEM on the updates from the previous week. This information helps the user understand any deviation upfront and then take any necessary actions for it. The information is brought to the user’s notice directly. The user can choose to view the simplified view of the welcome screen, or can choose the data rich view. The data rich view shows more in-depth information regarding the analytics of the application over the previous week.

The home page shows the applications that require attention and frequently viewed applications tailored to the specific user.

Dynamic data

The display can show both static images and dynamic data from the field. Dynamic data is capable of being updated. For a BACnet over IP-based data fetch, updates occur at a minimum every 15 minutes. For a database-based data fetch, updates occur in a minimum 4-hour time window. Dynamic data displays in the form of animated trend charts. Graphical user interface (GUI) displays the following forms of data:

  • Valid dynamic data from the field actual and calculated
  • User-entered data
  • Out-of-range, missing data
  • Meter, devices, equipment location, and hierarchy
