The Green Hub connects to Energy Manager or third-party building automation systems to monitor energy data. The Green Hub is touch screen capable, fully customizable, maintainable, and interactive. A slideshow displays several types of content with energy data as the main focus. The Green Hub display shows live data including current energy and water usage, reductions in CO2 emissions, outside air conditions, temperature, humidity, wind direction and speed, solar power, and more. View information about the organization, its history, programs, goals, and objectives. This information serves to increase understanding about the environmental impact and builds awareness of LEED® certification requirements, ENERGY STAR® criteria, and sustainability goals. The Green Hub supports playing user selected YouTube videos. The Green Hub provides historical data for energy consumption. In addition, the software is easy to configure, allowing changes to content, color scheme, and logos as required, to keep information current and relevant.

The Green Hub contains an editing feature, Green Hub Editor, that includes the following functions:

  • Preview, redo, and undo capability before publishing to the main screen.
  • Adjust screen timing between slides, on a slide-by-slide basis.
  • Update the logo, background color, and theme configuration for each space level.
  • Re-order and rename Kiosk tabs before publishing to the main screen.
  • Add new, configurable tabs that can showcase building events, highlight details with respect to transport, cafeteria, nearby attractions, and many more.
  • Enumerate multiple combinations of image and text.

The Green Hub includes a library of predefined Green Tips that are customer-selectable using the Green Hub Editor:

  • Renewable Energy
  • Recycle
  • Reuse
  • Reduce
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Refuse
  • Conserve Water

Users can display their green tips in a random order, and also easily add and configure their own green tips to display on the Kiosk. The Green Hub Maps feature provides flexibility to select any of the user’s locations from a map. The map displays color coded pin icons on each location to depict that particular location’s level of consumption.

  • Green pin icon indicates that current consumption has decreased at that location compared to previous consumption.
  • Yellow pin icon indicates that current consumption has nominally increased by 0 to 5% at that location compared to previous consumption.
  • Red pin icon indicates that current consumption has increased by more than 5% at that location compared to the previous consumption.

The Green Hub contains a library of predefined equivalency categories that are user-selectable, and provide equivalencies of commodities for comparison display. The conversion factor for these equivalencies are user-configurable from the Green Hub. The Green Hub displays building and floor comparisons, helping the user to compare the performance of buildings for a selected location.

  • The comparison is applicable for all of the commodities selected at the location space.
  • Configure all the buildings, floors, and commodities in the Green Hub Editor
  • Compare up to five buildings and floors for a selected time stamp.
  • Floor space comparison is available at the building level.

The Green Hub has a dynamic dashboard that supports the display of pictures, videos, and text along with any custom dashboards shared from OBEM.
