Procedure
To create a category, complete the following steps:
- From the navigation panel, select Workorder.
- On the work order page, click the Category Information tab.
- In the upper right, click Create New.
- From the Select language list, select the language.
- From the Select CMMS system list, select the CMMS.
- From the Category type list, select whether the category applies to an issue or a request.
- In the Category field, enter the name of the category.
- Optional: Select the Special category check box for the Companion CMMS if this is a special category.
- In the Sub category field, enter a subcategory name. To add more subcategories, click + Add. To delete a subcategory, click the Delete icon in the relevant row.
- Click Save.
