Use the workplace floor map to block spaces, or to mark spaces as requiring sanitization. Use this feature to enforce social distancing guidelines and manage enterprise space reservation and cleanliness strategies. On the Companion app and Companion Desk Reservation Kiosk, blocked spaces appear as Blocked and spaces requiring sanitization appear as Unavailable. Users cannot check in to or reserve spaces that are blocked or unavailable.

To block a space, mark it for sanitization, or mark it as available, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Home page, click Wellness.
  2. Click Seating Protocols.
  3. Use the Select Location, Select Building, and Select Floor lists to open the relevant floor plan.
  4. Click a space on the floor plan to open the space menu.
  5. On the menu, select Available, Blocked, or Sanitization Required.
  6. Click Confirm.
