Due to social distancing concerns, your organization may implement conditional access restrictions to comply with reduced workplace capacity. Conditional access requires users to have a booking to access the building. If a user does not have a booking, their access card or phone-as-badge does not grant access to the building.

Conditional access restrictions do not apply to users with special privileges. Users with special privileges do not need a relevant booking to access the building. Users with special privileges can book meeting rooms which are marked as Special and cannot be booked by other users.

To grant a user special privileges, create a role with special privileges and assign this role to the user. To create and assign a role, follow the instructions in Assigning rights to a role and Assigning a role to a user.
