Create additional buildings in the space tree using the Admin Portal. Use this if you acquire additional buildings in a location after the initial Companion mobile application setup process.

About this task

To create a Building space in the space tree, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the Home page, in the navigation menu, select Space Configuration.
  2. From the Space Tree pane, select Location.
  3. Click Add New.

  4. In the Building name section, enter the name of the building in all applicable languages.
  5. In the Address line fields, enter the first line of the address of the location.
  6. In the Zipcode field, enter the zipcode of the location.
  7. Optional: In the Gross floor area field, enter the gross floor area of the building.
  8. Optional: In the No. of occupants field, enter the number of tenants of the building.
  9. In the Latitude field, enter the latitude coordinates of the location.
  10. In the Longitude field, enter the longitude coordinates of the location.
  11. If Wellness rules are enabled, from the location field, choose the location to be mapped.
  12. In the Contact Information fields, enter in relevant contact details.
  13. Click Save.
