About this task

To create a news item in the Admin Portal, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the Home page, in the navigation menu, select News.
  2. Click Create News.
  3. In the Title field, enter the title of the news.
  4. In the Description field, enter the news content.
  5. Click Browse to upload a JPEG image for the news.
  6. Select a start and expiry date.
  7. To display news on the kiosk, check the is Kiosk box.
  8. To send an SMS, check the Send SMS box.
  9. To add a URL to the news item, enter a URL and select Convert into Tiny URL and select Copy.
  10. Click Publish.
