Procedure

To configure restricted areas, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Home page, in the navigation menu, select Navigation Routes.
  2. Click the Restricted Area tab.
  3. Choose from the following options:
    • To create a new restricted area, click Create New and continue with the next step.
    • To view a restricted area, click the relevant row in the list.
    • To delete a restricted area, click the Delete icon in the Action column for the area in the list.
  4. Enter a name for the restricted area.
  5. From the Access restricted for roles list, select the user roles that cannot enter the restricted area.
  6. In the Location Information section, select the location, building, and floor. To make the whole floor a restricted area, select Restrict entire floor.
  7. Click Show Floor Map.
  8. In the floor map, draw a polygon around the area you want to restrict. To draw the polygon, click to add each angle and drag the sides as necessary. To undo the last change, click Undo. To reset your changes, click Reset.
  9. Click Save.
