The NSD1380 displays are versatile devices that you can configure to meet your specific application requirements. This section lists all of the menu items, some of which are available to program and change. You can change items by using the touch screen. If you are unfamiliar with the keystroke procedure, please see Configuration for a detailed explanation. This section provides the following information:

  • a complete list of all menu items
  • the menu item or software name
  • each menu item’s function
  • the range of values
  • the default item value

Change Room Modes of Connected RPM1600 Series Monitors and RPC1611 Controllers

Room Mode

Room mode selects if the NSD1380 Nurses Station Display can change the room mode of connected RPM1600 Series Monitors and RPC1611 Controllers from the current room mode to NO ISOLATION mode.

Note: The NSD1380 Nurses Station Display cannot change a connected monitor or controller
  • from NEGATIVE to POSITIVE mode

  • from POSITIVE to NEGATIVE mode

Enable access codes Passcode Passcode prevents unauthorized access to a menu. If the Passcode item is:
  • OFF - no Passcode is required to enter the room mode or menu screens.

  • ROOM MODE - a Passcode is required to enter the room mode screens but not the menu screens

  • MENUS - a Passcode is required to enter the menu screens but not the room mode screens

ALL - a Passcode is required to enter the room mode and menu screens.

Reset settings Reset Settings

Reset settings changes all settings to the factory default. Reset settings does not affect calibration.

Recalibrate touchscreen

Touch Cal

Touch cal starts the touch screen recalibration process. While recalibrating the touch screen, the NSD directs the user to touch the screen in various places.

Note: Recalibrating the touch screen is best accomplished using a stylus, pen, or similar object.
