You can update building metadata in compliance with Johnson Controls Enterprise Management requirements.
Johnson Controls Enterprise Management requires that buildings have a certain data set of
building metadata. Select a building in the Located In ontology tree and enter
its metadata at the bottom of the Ontology Trees pane.

- You can use an online map service to acquire the coordinates of a building. Right-click any location on the map to obtain the GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude). Enter the coordinate data manually. If you use copy and paste, you may introduce unnecessary characters.
- The Weather Station list becomes available after you enter the Latitude and Longitude metadata. This list contains all National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather stations within a 50 mile radius of the coordinates. Select an appropriate weather station from the drop-down list.
-
You can copy and paste building metadata from one building to another, which is useful if there are multiple buildings at the same location. After pasting the metadata, you can adjust the GPS coordinates of the building as necessary. To copy and paste metadata, right-click on a building and select Copy Building Properties, and then right-click on another building and select Paste Building Metadata Properties.
