About this task

To map LonWorks Field Points manually, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the Metasys UI, select a device under LON Trunk1 in the Building Network tree.
  2. Click the + icon in the upper left corner of the Building Network tree to add a network item. This displays the Create Item window.
  3. On the General Type dropdown menu, select Field Point.
  4. On the Object Type dropdown menu, choose from the proper object type and click Next. This displays the Create Item window.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Insert the required details and click Create.
