About this task

You need to be in Commissioning mode for this to take effect. When you drag meter equipment to the LocatedIn ontology tree you will be prompted with another pop up window. Much of the detail at the top is confirmation that the first meter selected is the correct meter and the destination is correct. The editable fields should be carefully edited to correspond with JEM expectation.

In the Additional Details area, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Is a Main Meter check box if the meter is an independent building main meter. Also check the box if the meter is to be used with Tenant Billing.
  2. In the Meter Rollup area, click Yes if the data from this meter is to be visible at a higher space level. If the data is to be used only locally, leave No selected. Be mindful when configuring the meters. For example, if you have a main meter served by sub meters you do not want the sub meters to roll up, otherwise you double-dipping will occur at the level of the main meter.
  3. Click the Add button to attach the currently selected meter to the LocatedIn tree. If you have multiple meters selected, you are prompted to add each one. You can make changes to each meter as you add them.
  4. Click theAdd All button if you want multiple meters with the same configuration to be added to the LocatedIn tree with all the same configuration.
Note: There is no escape from this window. You must go through with your changes and then delete them from the LocatedIn tree afterwards.
