This option allows the zone setpoints to be automatically adjusted based on the outdoor air temperature. This feature is often used for entry zones, such as an atrium, that feel comfortable at warmer or cooler temperatures because occupants usually enter from much warmer or cooler conditions. For example, if the outdoor air temperature is 20°F (-7°C), the atrium temperature may be kept at 65°F (18°C) rather than 69°F (21°C) because occupants wear heavier clothing as they come in from or go to the outdoors.
