The following table describes the attributes used by the Fan Determination modules.
Name |
Type 1 |
Description |
Default Value |
---|---|---|---|
Cooling Percent Cmd |
Contains the value fed back from the cooling output control. It should be set to 0% if no cooling output exists. |
0.0% |
|
Damper Percent Cmd |
Contains the value fed back from the damper output control and must exceed the minimum oa position value by 2% before the fan state output is turned on. It should be set to 0% if no damper output exists. |
0.0% |
|
Fan Off Threshold |
Percent output command required to turn the fan off. This value is compared to the larger of the Cooling Percent Cmd and Heating Percent Cmd. |
1.0% |
|
Fan On Threshold |
Contains the percent output command required to turn the fan on. This value is compared to the larger of the Cooling Percent Cmd and Heating Percent Cmd. |
5.0% |
|
FAN-CYCLE (Fan Cycling) |
Specifies whether the fan cycles during occupied periods. If the parameter is set to Yes, the fan only turns on when there is a call for cooling, heating, or economizer (damper percent cmd). Otherwise, if set to No, the fan operates during all occupied and bypass periods. |
No Set Name: No/Yes |
|
FAN-STATE (State) |
G, V |
Indicates whether the fan is required to operate. |
Set Name: Off/On |
Heating Percent Cmd |
Contains the value fed back from the heating output control. It should be set to 0% if no heating output exists. |
0.0% |
|
HTG-PURGETIME (Heating Purge Duration) |
Specifies that when the heating percent command drops below the fan off threshold value, the fan continues to operate for this period of time. |
120.0 Seconds |
|
Minimum OA Position |
Used to prevent the fan from starting unless the Damper Percent Cmd is above its minimum position by 2%. |
0.0% |
|
Occupancy |
Contains input from the Occupancy Mode Determination module relaying the effective occupancy mode of the application. |
Unoccupied Set Name: Occ Effective |
