The following table describes the attributes used by the Waterside Economizer Sequencer.

Table 1. Waterside Economizer Sequencer Attributes
Name Description Default Value

CHWS Temperature

This value is used with CW Temperature to calculate the lift and adjust the plant capacity if the lift sensitivity was defined for the chillers.

44.0

CHWS Temperature Setpt

Setpoint of the chilled water.

44.0

CHWS-T Wait Time

In the CHWS-T Timing state, this input is the time allowed for the CHWS-T to drop below the CHWS-Tsp.

30

CHWS-Tsp Diff

This input is the chilled water supply temperature setpoint differential.

3.0

CW Temperature

This value is the condenser water supply temperature. This value is used with CHWS Temperature to calculate the lift and adjust the plant capacity if the lift sensitivity was defined for the chillers.

85.0

CW-T Chiller Start Setpt

This value is the minimum condenser water supply temperature that allows safe startup of the chiller.

60.0

CW-T Cooldown Time

In the Start Hx state, this input is the time allowed for the CW-T to cool down to the economizer CW-Tsp before entering Hx Control.

30

Chiller Count

Indicates the number of chillers currently operating.

0

Chiller Min On Time

Minimum amount of time the chiller should be commanded on. In the Chiller Control state, this input is the time allowed for chillers to stay on and the system to stabilize before entering Stop Chillers.

30

Econ Reset

This input forces the FSM input Econ isValid to true, allowing the sequencer to transition from mechanical cooling to economizer cooling without being influenced by the amount of time Econ isAvail has been true.

False

Econ isAvail

Enables or disables waterside economizer.

False

Hx Count

Indicates the number of heat exchangers that are currently operating.

0

Mech isAvail

Indicates that the conditions allow mechanical (chiller) cooling.

False

System Enabled

Enables or locks out the central plant system.

False

State

Shows current state of output controller.

Off

Set Name: Waterside Econ State

See Primary States (Waterside Economizer Sequencer).
