To hide a connection line, right-click a connection line and select Hide. The connection line becomes a hidden edge label (numbered circle next to an Activity Input, Activity Output, block input, or block output:

, or 
).
To show a connection line, right-click a hidden edge label and select Unhide. The hidden edge label becomes a connection line.
