The State Generation category appears in the Control tab (Figure 1). This section lists the state generators defined for the system. The state generators are listed according to priority, where the state generators appearing at the top have a higher priority than those listed below them. This order corresponds to the order in a State Selection Table when viewing the State Tables. A state generation module calculates a state that is prioritized by the State Table, which calculates a mode to be controlled by an Output Controller.
During simulation and commissioning modes, the State Generation category displays a second row of text. This row provides the key output present value or present state.
