The following table describes the attributes used by the Dual Fan No Airflow Sequencing modules.

Table 1. Dual Fan No Airflow Sequencing Attributes

Name

Type 1

Description

Default Value

Flow Status

Indicates proof of airflow input for the first supply fan. This is an enumerated input with two possible values: NoFlow and Flow.

Off

Set Name: Off/On

Command

Indicates supply fan command for fan 1. The activity uses this input to determine if the fan was commanded on or off.

Off

Set Name: Off/On

Flow Status2

Indicates proof of airflow input for the second supply fan. This is an enumerated input with two possible values: NoFlow and Flow.

Off

Set Name: Off/On

Command 2

Indicates the supply fan command for fan 2. The activity uses this input to determine if the fan was commanded on or off.

Off

Set Name: Off/On

Supply Flow

Indicates the airflow measurement. This input may be used on a unit with electric heat to make sure the heating coils have enough airflow.

200 l/s 424 cfm

Min Air Flow Setpoint

Defines the minimum amount of airflow required for operating the electric heat.

200 l/s 424 cfm

Electric Heat

Indicates when electric heat is used. Units with electric may require low flow protection.

False

Restart Config

This input is used to configure the sequencer for manual fault recovery. When set to true, a fault requires manual intervention for recovery. When set to false, the unit may self recover. To exit the manual reset mode, the operator must use the Hardware Restart or the Network Restart inputs to clear the fault.

False

Hardware Restart

Provides a hardware binary input for fault recovery.

Normal

Set Name: Normal/Trigger

Network Restart

Provides a network input for fault recovery.

Normal

Set Name: Normal/Trigger

Delay

Defines the maximum time required for the fan to prove. If the fan is commanded on and does not prove within this time, the unit enters either the manual recovery fault state or the self recovery fault state.

30 Seconds

Flow Debounce

Defines the amount of time the module ignores a temporary loss of airflow before it takes action.

10 Seconds

NOFLOW-STATE

G

Indicates current state of the activity. This output is connected to the state selection matrix.

Normal

Set Name: AHU Flow States

Proof of Airflow

Shows the current airflow status. This enumerated output may be either True, False, or Fault. True means one of the two fans was commanded on and airflow has been detected; False means the both fans were not commanded on; and Fault means the fans were commanded on, but airflow proof has not been detected for either fan. This output would be connected to the MSC primitive Proof of Airflow input for a staged device.

True

Set Name: False/True/Fault

Status 1

Shows the current airflow status for the first fan. This Boolean output may be either True when there is proof of airflow or False when there is not.

False

Supply 2

Shows the current airflow status for the second fan. This Boolean output may be either True when there is proof of airflow or False when there is not.

False

Supply - OR

Shows the current airflow status for both fans. This Boolean output may be either True when there is proof of airflow for either fan or False when there is not. This output would be connected to the Free Cooling Availability primitive Supply Fan Status input.

False

Alarm 1

Shows the current alarm status for the first fan. This Enum output may be either Normal when there is proof of airflow or Alarm when there is no proof.

Normal

Set Name: Normal/Alarm

Alarm 2

Shows the current alarm status for the second fan. This Enum output may be either Normal when there is proof of airflow or Alarm when there is no proof.

Normal

Set Name: Normal/Alarm

1 B - BACnet Exposed Parameter, C - Configuration Mode Only, G - Default Element (Generated State, if applicable), SC - Simulation and Commissioning Modes Only, V - Calculated Value (Outputs)
