About this task

If the application was created with CCT/PCT standards, you may be able to use the network input TUNING-RESET. This network input connects to the new PID tuning reset state generation module, which in turn connects to the state tables.

The network input can be set to True from CCT/PCT when in Commissioning mode. When initiated, the output control modules with PIDs are put into a hold state, during which the Eff Proportional Band and Eff Integral Time PID parameters are reset to their initial values, as determined by the Process ID of the PID Pre-Processor.
