Mounting the antenna
- Verify cell reception before you mount the antenna.
- Mount the antenna where cell reception is acceptable. You can mount the antenna on the panel or on a pole.
Note: You can use the
189 in. antenna cable to mount in a remote location. To mount the antenna
outside the panel, the installer must provide a knock-out on the panel to pull
the cabling through, and terminate to the modem inside the panel.

Connecting the power
- Connect the cellular antenna to the WWAN PRI connector on the unit. If the unit is equipped with a secondary cellular antenna connector, connect it to the WWAN SEC connector.
- Connect 120 VAC power into the junction box at the top of the panel. Note: The panel requires 120 VAC power.
The project team receives specific directions from the remote operations center (ROC) about VPN set up, site-specific network assignments, and the relevant user name and password.
